Posts: 28 		I put it up for sale in hopes someone would buy it and run it as a hobby. It doesn't mean the site is closing down, it just means that I'd be agreeable to selling it to an interested party. Right now we have many of our websites up for sale (Groovystats, Pridestats, et al), as we're trying to cut down on how much work we have to do and how much we spend in overhead costs each month. We sold our largest website, Retrostats, about six months ago.

There was a time, a few years ago, when we earned so much money from our Internet work that we could run as many websites as we wanted and not worry about whether or not they supported themselves (through advertising income, for example). Unfortunately, those days are gone, so it's time to trim the fat.

Loc: England 		[size:18]I...for one...reeeeeeeeeeally hope that even if someone doesn't buy it that you will keep running it...The writers on here are amazing, the readers are faithful and I made loads of new friends who have similar interests...It would be a real shame, and I would have nothing to do on those lonely nights...seeing as how if I drink another drop I'll die...And my g/f lives 3 hours away by train *sigh*...[/size]
