First off... I'd just like to say how very disappointed I am... I love this site to bits, and spend a hell of a lot of my spare time either reading fics posted and reviewing, or writing my own stuff...
When I read a fic, I ALWAYS review it, if I hate it, I say I hate it, if I love it, I say I love it, I can't not review, you can't read something and feel nothing for it... So for the love of Pete, get to grips with your felings and write it down as a review! To (mostly) Diane, Sami and zigpal... Thank the Goddess for you because otherwise, I'd have stopped writing for this site ages ago... To other people who randomly review when they feel like it, thanks also... Don't want you thinking I'm not grateful... 'Cause I am...
With reguards to writers, two main points... I know how hard it is to update on a regular basis... I'm not the world's most reliable writer, and I know you have shit going on in the real world that concerns your attention but Jeez... Is it the latest fashion to update like whenever the moon shines blue??? Chuffin' hell... It's the holidays... Time for relaxing and whatnot, so chill out and write a bit... This place is like a friggin' morgue... Second point... Someone please offer to beta some of the writers here, if you have time spare, just give it up to correct some of the errors made in fics... There are some amazing writers on here, who only get a small fanbase because their spelling and grammar is off... And I think it's a shame...
Finally, I used to be able to come home and read at least one new chapter to a fic that I liked very much (or if I've updated at least one new review), I'm finding it comes down to about twice a week tops these days... Which is crap... And this discussion board used to be packed with challenges, announcements, advice requests, ideas, thoughts and general banter that goes on between people that share passions... So what in the name of Pete Tong went wrong? Has everyone lost their muse recently? Are we inspired ones a decreasing popularity... C'mon, pull your fingers out guys... It's depressing, and for anyone visiting the site that hasn't been here before, it's downright embarrassing too... They'll think 'why bother?...If they can't be passionate about it, why should I be?'...
Comments and replies in any form are most welcome...

I totally agree with what your saying. Although i'm sure along with me, most people have grown up with this site.
So it's not a case of us coming home from school and writing a chapter anymore. We have to juggle with work and other crap life brings us. So it's not always just about pulling a finger out.
So we'll make an exception for those people.
everyone else..rock on with the writing!! and...reviewing. 'Cause let's face it, we all like them. Plus helpful ones make us better on our writing.

I agree that quite a few of the writers on here are older than school age now, or are away at Uni, or in the working world, I juggle way too much crap in my life but, if you're gonna start something, at least finish it... It depresses me when I don't write, I don't know about anyone else... Surely a lot of you guys have gotta be the same...
But, I'll leave an exception for all you 'socially liked' people and 'workaholics' and 'family issues'... Though I gotta admit, in the past two days, it's picked up slightly...
Anyway, I think I ranted enough above... So... I shall shut up not... Just felt the need to express my opinion... (that was the edited and nice version) Lol...
