AAnnAArchy suggested that we consider opening the fanfic archive to more pairings. We'd leave the Kennedy archive as is, but then add a second archive featuring the other main BtVS pairings (Buffy/Faith, Cordelia/Willow, etc.). There's already a big Buffy/Willow archive at http://www.ikoly.com so I wouldn't want to really duplicate that, but we could have a smaller, simple archive where regular posters here could add other stories. I stress the word "simple" -- stories would simply be grouped by pairing and not by subcategory (i.e. you'll get Buffy/Faith and that's it, not subdivisions of "romance", "songfic", "adventure", etc.).
What do you think? I realize there are hundreds -- probably thousands -- of fanfic sites on the 'net. And I'm not trying to replace them, I'm trying to do what's most convenient for the posters here.

Hmm... interesting question!
What I might consider is opening a section for non-Kennedycentric stories that are related to the authors' Kennedy-based fics. Like spin-offs and such, which might still include Kennedy, but not as a main character?
Otherwise, like you said, there are plenty of fanfic sites (though I still consider this one of the coziest and friendliest there is)... So opening a place for other pairings... well, I dunno, I'm not that interested (except for maybe Willow/Faith) but hey, I can always post that on some other site if I feel like it! 
So what do I vote here? Uh...

[ ] No
[x] Limited expansion for the authors' related stories
Or something like that... of course, I won't object if people want there to be a more diverse selection of fics and pairings... diversity is good.

i actually thought of a great answer to this that i just had to share to see if it was lame or not. If we were to expand the site why not do something like an RPG in the forums.
People that are interested in running one could and then people would sign on to play certain characters for that RPG. I know that a lot of other sites do this and I think it would be a good add on for this site. It's even good for people that don't want to write fics to get involved with it because this way they don't have to, they can just write small parts for one person.
The person picked to be in charge would decide who got what rolls and run the whole game, maybe having a part themselves. They would detail the story and give instruction to the people that are characters and maybe even find a fair way to pick people.
I know that I would be interested in running one of these and if the site ever does expand it would be a great idea... of course I am sure we would have lots of post-BtVS RPG's but hey- if the person in charge can handle it then why not.
Tell me what you think. And, side note, I have actually been trying to find a site willing to let me start up an RPG lately. It's just so hard to find people interested sometimes but this site gets lots of hits so it's perfect.
so I guess i am saying no to the archive, because that is fine itself, but yes to the forums...

I dunno what part Gamesprite didn't understand Frost but I have another idea still, other then my one above that is well (worthless)....
Expand the archive into catagories that are really common ships.... like Bangel, Cordgel, Spuffy, and such like that....
I only think that they should be major ships and then, if it does expand, maybe do an awards section but nothing major maybe a by season thing were reader's nominate and the judges are partial and won't be revealed or whatever.
Just a thought
