(thanks to Allyson for writing this up on the IyariLimon.com board)

1. Go to http://www.kennedyfanfic.com/fanfic.

2. Click on 'Register'.

3. You will be taken to a login screen. Enter your User Name, Pen Name, Password, and Email address. You will need to remember this information each time you visit the Archive to submit or edit a story. Sorry for making you register for so many things, but unfortunately, every feature uses a different database.

4. When you're finished filling in your info, click 'Register'. You should see the following message: "You have registered successfully! Go to the userpanel to log in and upload your work."

5. Click on "User Panel". This will take you to a screen that will allow you to submit your work. You will be required to login first. Enter your User Name and Password that you entered in #3 and click 'Login'.

6. At the User Panel you will have a choice of functions to choose from. To add your story, click 'Add Story'.

7. In the submissions form you will need to provide information about your story. Type in the title of your story. Type in a description or a short summary of the story. In the 'Area' pop-up menu, select a category (Kennedy/Other, Kennedy/Willow, or Non-Slash FanFic). Choose a SubCategory (Drama, Action/Adventure, etc). Select a Rating (U, PG, PG-15, PG-18, or NC-17). Choose either Yes or No at the "Allow Additions" pop-up menu (choose yes if this is an ongoing project). At the 'Add Chapter By...' drop down menu, you can either choose to upload the file from disk (must be .htm, .html, or .txt format only) or choose a text area (text box where you can copy and paste). Click Next.

8. Depending on which 'Add Chapter By...' selection you chose, you can either upload the document or paste it into a text box.

9. When finished, click "Preview Story". If you are satisfied with the upload, click 'Publish' and you're done!

10. Don't forget to click 'Logout' when you are finished, especially if you share a computer with someone else.[/url]

When you're posting or reading a fanfic story, you'll encounter ratings: U, PG, PG-15, PG-18, or NC-17. I'm honestly not sure which country's rating codes these reflect, as some are American ratings, and some seem to be excessively detailed.

Regardless, when you're rating your story, here are some guidelines to keep in mind:

U = appropriate for all readers. No sex, no violence, no bad language. A story about Kennedy going grocery shopping for cereal might be rated "U".

PG = appropriate for older kids, but still "kid-friendly". Mild, non-graphic violence is okay, mild cursing (like "damn"), and perhaps a little kiss on the cheek. Technically speaking, a movie rated PG is suitable for kids under the age of 13.

PG-15 and PG-18 = appropriate for older, teenage readers. Sex, violence, cursing allowed, but no outright "porn" or "smut". If it's smut, your story should be rated...

NC-17 = the queen of smut, often a story of the "PWP" variety. Something like BDSM or non-consensual sex belongs here, as does graphic erotica.

When you post a fanfic in Spanish or anyother language, can it be pairs like Willow/Kennedy... I'm Spanish so i was thinking of transfering my fic to Spainsh, too.

I'm wasn't anticipating a huge number of non-English fics, which is why the archive is set up to have all the "international" fics lumped together by language. I'd suggest that if your fic is written in Spanish that you post it in the general Spanish-language section, but indicate the pairing in the story description. If I notice large numbers of fics for a particular pairing, I can designate some sub-categories in the future and move fics around accordingly.
